We take pride in supporting the non-profit sector of our communities.
Whether it is donating funds, staff time, or our facilities, we are proud to help by furthering the work of schools, service groups, scouts, civic groups, religious institutions and other organizations working to improve our communities. We were the proud recipients of an “Outstanding” rating (the highest possible) in four of the last eight examinations from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) for our compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). CRA ratings measure how well a bank meets the credit and other financial needs of its communities.
Owned and operated by the Loundy family since 1953, Devon Bank remains very closely connected to the Loundy Family. David Loundy is the third-generation of the Loundy family to serve as chairman. Mason Loundy, David's grandfather, and the first generation to serve as Chairman, was a firm believer in giving back to the community. The same philosophy guides our bank today, more than seven decades later. Being a Devon Bank customer means more than just having a place for financial transactions. We are proud to mention that we support over 30 not-for-profit organizations every year.
We are always open to receive donation requests from not-for-profit organizations based in our communities and as our resources allow, we are happy to help. Our Chicago branch has a Community Room, which is offered at no cost to not-for-profit organizations only. If you would like to reserve our Community Room, please stop by the branch or call (773) 465-2500 to be connected with our Marketing Department.
Please stop by any time to meet us. We are happy to be part of the community and we are looking forward to many more years of giving back to our neighborhoods.
